About Sound Off

The Sound Off for Poverty engages the hearts and minds of youth to assist people in need, while conducting a Media Fast to remove the distractions that so often dominate their lives. This youth group program exposes your students to Biblical fasting, community service, and activities that will challenge them to stand up for the poor in America.

The Four Essentials of "Sounding Off"

About Sound Off
  1. Education - Challenge students to dig deep into God’s Word and learn about His love for the poor and His call to the Church to help those in need. Teach students about the realities of poverty in your community and across the United States.
  2. Service – Help students act on their faith by participating in community service projects.
  3. Public Awareness – Empower students to bring greater awareness to your church and community of the issues of poverty in America.
  4. Fundraising – Challenge students to sacrifice electronic entertainment for at least 48 hours, and to raise funds for their Media Fast to help people in need through Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC).
