This website page is a supplement to the Youth Leader’s Tool Kit, and provides online resources to support your efforts in promoting your Sound Off event.
Conduct a Media Blast before your Media Fast.
Students experience the most success when they conduct a Media Blast (getting the word out through all of their electronic media channels) two weeks prior to their Media Fast. The Participating Student section gives students directions for conducting a Media Blast and a sample letter they can copy and personalize to promote their Sound Off event.
Online Sponsorship
Students are encouraged to secure donations using the collection envelope and face-to-face interactions with sponsors. They can secure sponsorships online.
